More stylish leg shields

This is one of Mark's more recent purchases. It is a Simson Schwalbe scooter. It has the 50cc Simson 2 stroke motor in it. It is a complete bike but is a non runner.

Having seen it in the flesh and sat on it I really like it. The Simon motor is fairly torquey so when it runs it should be fun.

    I think I just saw this bike on weirdoldbikes.blogspot.co.uk - could that be?

    I just messaged Mark to ask him how it all went with the renovation and (more importantly) the importation/registration...

    I also have a Simson Schwalbe, from 1981. I've brought it back to the UK but haven't been able to register it here - I literally cannot find any information on how to do it. Also, the few people I have asked/attempted to contact have either not responded or haven't known the solution.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.
